Bio-energy - In cooperation with a team of academic and commercial partners, DLSci conducts scientific research and product development for applications such as "Biobatteries™", "Military Biorefineries", and other derivations of power and energy from biology.
Commercial Sales - DLSci markets Genencor, International TM"DEFENZ" enzymatic decontamination systems in the Federal National and Homeland Defense markets. Additionally we work with other decontamination systems providers and product integration firms.
Consulting - For instances where there is an important Life Sciences defense capability emerging that needs expert assistance to be commercialized:
· DLSci identifies the federal budget programs with the highest success potential.
· If needed, DLSci will identify appropriate partnership companies to meet the government's overall requirements for the project.
· Assist in the drafting and submission of proposals and then monitor the review process of the proposal, coordinating with the appropriate federal agencies.
· Maintain contact with the appropriate program manager. Prepare white papers as necessary.
· Provide after sales support including complete project management, accounting, reporting and federal representation.
Studies - DLSci conducts studies for various government entities. DLSci staff maintain appropriate security clearances and assist in the development of strategic direction for Life Sciences in defense applications.
